Thanks to all for you help. Alexa Stillwell and Lorelei were correct- it is a typo and should be cord ground for which we found the instructions in the Book of bobbin lace stitches. Thank you for pointing us in the right direction. It does look a rather un-Bucks ground!! Jeanette Fischer South

When I read "core ground", my thought was that it was someone's private term for the central/main/basic stitch, which would be the CTTT pin that is used so much in Bucks.  I've never heard the term "core ground" before.  it will be interesting if someone turns up with a special stitch. Alice in
