I'd suggest starting with the lace you most enjoyed making in the past. If
you're already enjoying the pleasure of holding the bobbins again, I'm sure
you'll find it'll come back to you quickly - kind of like riding a bike.

I'd be tempted to enlarge a simple bookmark pattern to about 300% plus and make
it using yarn as a slim scarf. The pattern would make up quick to get you back
in the saddle and using the large pattern would work well with getting you back
to the pattern.
