Thank you all for your replies to my query about fingering Yarn. I was amazed at how quickly I got replies! I get the digest so I am not used to prompt answers quite so quickly!!!
You Ladies are Amazing!! Sue Duckles â The vest is in the Anna for May 1992 - issue #5 for that year. I will scan in and try to add the Washington Memorial lace bookmark photo to Flickr Susan. The Red, white, & blue piece was my first try at working a Patchwork piece in Needlelace!! My daughter Helen Bell, gave me the idea of a mariners compass prior to the Washington DC IOLI convention, and those colours seemed appropriate!!! Since then I have worked 5 versions of the Dresden Plate (all in white), and some pastel colours for 4 other pieced-type blocks. Sunbonnet Sue came out well in Needlelace, too. I should put some of them up on Flickr too, I suppose!! Regards from Liz. In hot, sunny Melbourne Oz. Where it is about 29C today, 41 tomorrow and only 21 on Sunday (about 84F, 108F, and 74F I think)- so very erratic weather!! - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here.
