Hi all and especially those who responded to the video, Daan and Alicia were thrilled by all the nice responses to the video of their swinging lacemaking! Carol Adkinson has made them honorary members of her children lace classes and I can tell you that my grandkids feel honored. They really feel like VIP's!
The responses were also educative. Daan told a friend about his lacemaking and his friend said; "lacemaking, that is girl's stuff". So Daan told him that he knew boys, some even as old as 16 (he was talking about Carol's grandsons!), who also make lace. And that his grandma has male lacefriends, MEN! He knew that, thanks to the emails that Mark and David sent. For his next show and tell, he will take his pillow to school and tell his whole class about lacemaking!
