Hello,
In France there is many lacecourses : all the years I think in Bayeux,
Auvergne (le Puy, Brioude). And special session in Bailleul (north)
Retournac (Auvergne).

1. The shuttle is made up of a POST and two SHELLS.
2. The post is the part that keeps the two shells apart and indeed
together also.
3. The post has a height, this is the distance that the two shells are kept
apart where the post connects to the shells.
4.The two shells are the Boat
I would recommend that you copy a shuttle that you already have for your
first try.
1. Take a piece of wood of the length, height and width of the desired
finished shuttle.
2. Mark with pencil the desired shape on each aspect of the shuttle.
3. Decide the Length of the shuttles post. [
For Jig saw rea SCROLL SAW sorry.

Part two told you how to carve from the solid wood. Of course we are going
to use solid wood in this method but we will cut all the parts separately
and then glue them together. You will ideally need a band saw or scroll saw
for this method

When you started teaching
- did you make more lace than before?
I made more lace before I started teaching. Now, I spent more of that time
preparing patterns for others, writing instructions, writing books, proofing

Susan,
I would recommend Acrylics as they dry into *literally* plastic. It

start a small project in tatting this way.

I'm more than a bit behind on my digests (lots of company) :( Well, I can
tell you that that particular bobbin started life as a letter opener with
a small pen inside. I had one myself..got broken just like the one on e-bay
:( I think they must've produced them by the ton, they are antiques but
Ooops! Guess I should make it clear that the e-bay bobbin I was referring
to (that's really a letter opener) was the one with the holes and the
spangle stuck on sideways :) Sharon

Three Little Words That Work !!
(1)The three little words are: Hold On, Please...
Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of
hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more
time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt.
