Irma Boone (Belgium) well-known needle-lace-teacher, died this morning. She has been ill for some time, but we all hoped that she will get better. 82 years old, she did a lot to revive needle-lace, she has been president to the belgian lace-guild and if I remember well, president to OIDFA too.

Brenda, If you go by your basic formula for a lace fair, we are doing quite well in New South Wales. At our last bimonthly lace day in Sydney, we had our usual 2 general suppliers who both carry just about everything needed books, bobbins, threads, and both have their own specialty items as well.
