creativity, warmth and meaningfulness!! These warm ideas can lead to more
connections among lacemakers, AND make memories that can be rekindled each

These laces show animals and people, or interpret old art masterpieces - in

celebrated our 40th anniversary.  We had commemorative bobbins, a cake and a
pot luck lunch.  I was unfortunately absent but the photos look like I missed

Hi Lacers,

We’re still a small guild (ahem - for a while), and some of our members are not 
able to be as active as they’d like.  But we’d still like to do something to 
acknowledge our (non-zero) anniversary as a charter member of IOLI.

Can any of you share little things we could do that would be warm, welcoming, 
cheerful and celebratory? Do any of you have special traditions you have 
developed for this annual celebration? How do you mark this day as special?
