He does now and he answered my query. He is willing to sell copies for Mary
Moseley. He’s even got paypal, so I guess even overseas postage can be sorted
out. It might just take a while, he’s not online very often.

Here it is:

We had them at a lace day a couple of years ago, and there was no email address
available then. It's best to contact them by post with a cheque covering
postage as well as the books.

When I looked at the photo in the Flickr album I thought I’d seen the lace on
the left before and have now found it - it’s in the Antique Lace Sample Book
which is part of the Lace Guild’s Collection. The original label in the book
says “Piece of lace Old Ripon Lace 18th century”. I don’t really believe the
18th century part but the lace is definitely the same.

Thank you Susan for putting up the page for me. Perhaps I should explain how it
came about.

More years ago than I care to count, on a visit to the lace shop in Honiton I
purchased a collection of assorted old lace samples.
All were small pieces of only one or two pattern repeats, and most were mounted
on various coloured pieces of paper, and had identification written on the
reverse. Included among the samples were these two marked as being 'Old Ripon'.

All I need now is for some kind soul to explain how I can add pictures to my
new page, after nearly forty years of collecting lace making 'stuff' I'm sure
I've more to offer.
