Larceny and Petit Larceny v0.963 are now available for download at http://larceny.ccs.neu.edu/
Larceny v0.963 fixes about 20 bugs in the recent v0.962 release that were identified by (or with the help of) the PLT Scheme R6RS test suite that Matthew Flatt announced in comp.lang.scheme one week ago yesterday. Larceny v0.963 still fails 45 of 8843 tests in revision 10978 of the R6RS test program. These failures are confined to 4 of the 24 standard libraries tested, two of which have one failure each. Of the 45 failures, 35 occur within (rnrs io ports), and correspond to unimplemented or deprecated features of that library. Most other test failures involve negative zero or branch cuts in inexact arithmetic. We believe Larceny implements the most important 99.5% of the R6RS, but we will continue to make improvements. Thank you for your patience and support. We must also thank Matthew Flatt for making his excellent R6RS test program available to other implementors of the R6RS. William D Clinger Felix S.
