[lazarus] Anybody using FVWM window manager?

2007-10-24 Thread Graeme Geldenhuys
Hi, I switched from Gnome to FVWM. I've noticed that now some dialogs show without a title bar. Is this a X11 feature implemented in FVWM and not in Gnome? A possible bug in FVWM - which one is correct? Anybody know what attribute (property) in Lazarus TForm controls the visibility of the

Thanks.. I ran both xwininfo and xprop. I attached their output to this email. Interestingly: Override Redirect State = no So that would mean the TForm gets embedded in a window decoration form managed by the window manager. Yet no decoration appears. I guess it must be some issue with FVWM

Hi Tom Thanks for adding the Carbon SetCursorPos patch. Wome feedback on your comment: Thanks. It's only pitty that it does not produce mouse events. I could be mistaken, and appreciate correction, but think that SetCursorPos SHOULD NOT send mouse events (on any platform). That is from my

[lazarus] Mac OS X : TBitBtn Transparency

2007-10-24 Thread Dominique Louis
I've noticed that transparency for TBitBtn under Carbon on Mac OS X does not appear to work. Let me clarify that. It looks fine inside the X11 ide on the Lazarus form, but is not transparent at run-time under Carbon. Is there anything specific to Mac OS I need to do to do get transparency?

Have the same under KDE - and the same problem. AFAIK with X11 two Monitors are handled as one big - so the program using X11 knows nothing about the dimensions of the monitors - so that's not a Lazarus-specific problem but an issue for every program on X11... regards Lukas Johannes Müller
