It seems Dave Cinege has found it necessary to put an end to the LRP (Linux
Router Project; LEAF's parent-project, if you didn't already know) and the
story has attracted a reasonable amount of interest on slashdot.
The libm.lrp for Bering 1.2 is missing.. I'm going to try the one from
1.1 and see how it goes.. It has two choices... It either works, or it
doesn't ;) Here's the link from the Bering Users Guide to the missing
package:
Everyone,
It looks like Dave Cinege is closing LRP down.

Hi
could someone please inform the newbies like me a bit more detailed about
the political mishap at Dave C.'s site. I was always wondering a bit about
his comments in the code but wrote it off as jokes of someone in night mode.
Thanks

Yes. I have been playing around with 2.4.21 yesterday.
Apparently there is a pb building ide support as a module which would be a
major pb for Bering :-)

The one for 1.1 should work.
libm.lrp was not put into 1.2 directory since most packages using it have
been recompiled statistically against libm.

Thanks for the info, I think I got the gist and please excuse if I was
nosy. I just happened not to be on either list those days and feel it is a
shame that someone with Dave C.'s talent seems to go down the drain, his
political opinion notwithstanding.
Thanks

Hello all,
I am pretty sure I will be going to Portland for the O'Reilly
conference July 7th though 11. I was wondering if any LEAF'ers are
going to be there as well, and if so, it might be fun to hook up.
Best thing is, my trip is paid for by my new employer!
