That worked. Thanks for your help. :-)
I've added the following 4 modules to initmod.lrp:
ehci-platform.ko.gz
ohci-pci.ko.gz
xhci-hcd.ko.gz
xhci-pci.ko.gz
And replaced the configdb.lrp with the one from
Bering-uClibc_5.2.3_i686_syslinux_serial115200.tar.gz
firewall# lsmod

Now modules are in modules.sqfs. Just mount it somewhere, and copy xhci
(+ it's deps) to your dir.

I've created a USB stick from
Bering-uClibc_5.2.3_x86_64_syslinux_vga.tar.gz which boots fine on a normal
PC (after adding about 200 .c32 files :-). (Looks like I did create the
sticks correctly.)
I then changed the syslinux.cfg to use the serial console on this stick and
booted it with my
Hi Sven;
I'll expect an APU2 next week and will give it a try ASAP.
In the meantime I'll take care to build a X86_64 serial image for upcoming
versions.
The failure you see, looks like a missing module during boot...
hopefully I'll have more info once I'll have an APU2 myself

It seems like there's no USB 3.0 driver into initmod. Your board uses
usb 3.0 on front and also has usb 2.0 inside.
You may try to add XHCI driver to initmod (it's .cpio.gz package), or
try to connect flash to internal USB.
