This WOW! national peak event, proudly supported by Online Australia and
the Office of the Status of Women, is organised by
the National Women's Justice Coalition with technical support from the
University of New England.

The Welcome to Women's Online Week Chat begins at 11am Eastern Standard Time
with a message from the Deputy Prime Minister and Official Online Opening
by the
Hon Judith Troeth, Senator for Victoria. Guests include:

* Kathy Bail, editor of DYI Feminism;
* Anne Moffatt, founder of Females in Information Technology
(now Females in Information Technology and Telecommunications)

The program includes:
* women in business;
* working and shopping online;
* women and IT careers;
* young women online;
* women's organisations and communities using IT.

There are week long discussion forums on women in regional, rural
and remote Australia online and women from a non-English speaking
background online.
