Hi I always make sure that the files are up to date on my main PC, then copy to laptop via the network using Comodo Back Up, a free program. When using my laptop away from base I just take rough notes using Word. Also use my USB sick. Looking forward to hearing more about file Sync though.

Good day, I have been given a huge Legacy file containing over 10,000 names. Some of this is relative to me, much not. But it does need tidying up, as all the detail for each person's BDM is in the Location List, any thoughts on how do this apart from cut and paste would be most welcome. I

I am thinking about what would be the best way to add to my Legacy database the history, meaning and derivation of the surnames found in my son's ancestors direct lines. My thought is that I could place this in the Research Notes of the oldest male in each case of the name. Would love to hear
