You need to reset relationships (really - update them). Go to your
entry - click tools - set relationships. Should take care of it (and
any others you have entered since last time you set relationships).

I have MANY .pdf documents attached to persons in LEGACY and have no
problem at all - they open nearly instantly. My default .pdf reader
is FoxIt (from the Firefox people). All I have to do is go to the
PICTURES folder for an individual (Still think that is strange but it
works) and double click
.
You also have a customize selection; and 3 rows worth of availability.
Hit the Preview button to check it.

In my mind - it should NOT happen! A user should have to fill in
SOMETHING in order to create an entry - not just accidentally click on
a space. Legacy uses many single clicks to bring up all kinds o fneat

Sure - bring up the person in the NAME LIST - find the TAG and double click
on it. It will go away. There may well be an easier way - but I do this
one all the time to keep track of a task I might be doing to all tagged 2

on my laptop after a RESTORE from the desktop BACKUP - so I did the worst

My sources are much like Michele's - except I put the State FIRST (Georgia
US Census - 1880 - McDuffie Co) so that - when I look at my sources -
everything from Georgia will be together (Marriage records would be Georgia
- Marriage). Works for me!

sources when it comes to reports. Once that is resolved - I may switch.
But my system does what sources should do -- gives anyone looking at them
all they need to see what I saw to prove a fact. What more do you need???

Sometimes (unless you check) - you can think you sent things to a drive
when you did not. One other - if there is NOTHING - was the hard drive
formatted in the first place? Just two possibilities...
