I agree with Gary that the death photo's were not nearly as gruesome as
one would expect. They can be somewhat of a celebration.

Included in version 7 there is much more robust set relationship calculator

A search for Burial Location contains a comma. Each location uses a comma as
a separator. This should give you the list that you need directly.

Cary,
I know that this isn't much help, but I've run an ancestry report with all
generations (11,000 people) and had no problem. I, too, have a number of
sources with the detail text of the document from v.6, but had no problems.
Could you try to do File Maintenance|Check and repair, perhaps

We still have stag and hen parties in addition, but we refer to them as

Cathy,
If it were I, I would establish a source of Personal Knowledge and name it
something like Research of Cathy Vallevieni. Use this as your source and
as part of the source text (or the detail text as you prefer) place your
research and reasons for suggesting that this is the proper spelling.
Melody,
Let me see if I can answer all of your questions, I'm sure that some others
will chime in and will have better answers, but hopefully I can give you a
start. I must also state that these are my opinions only, and it's your
opinion and your mothers that are the only important ones to

Any work around? Or should I just send a bug report?

When viewing the Name list with Married names turned on, I do see that there
is (for lack of a better term) a squiggly icon in front of the names
generated with the Husband's last name. The person's name is listed as both
the Married name and the maiden name as two individuals, both pointing to

for having/using witnesses is to link multiple people to an event and
not have to create a separate event for each person.

Legacy 6 includes a wonderful relationship calculator. Simply go to tools,
relationship calculator. Insert the two individuals that you wish to
calculate and it will determine all relationships. You may also print the
report for your records.
Please see if this will work for your needs.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions for Tagging, It worked, but I went a

I tagged all of the direct ancestors on Tag 1 (no siblings etc) Then did a
search for everyone with Born location containing USA. Those I tagged at 2.
I then did a search with Tag 1 on, Tag 2 off and Death

Is it possible to print an Ancestor Report without the ahnentafel numbers? I
am printing these reports for a number of my Aunts and Uncles for the
holiday's and the leading numbers will become confusing for
non-genealogists.
I have tried to remove Ancestor numbers through the report options,
Jay S. Van Zeeland would like to recall the message, Ancestor Report

Do I understand correctly, that I only need to correct 1 item from each

If this is the case there should only be about 2-300 folders and will
greatly reduce my time.
Thanks
When storing large documents of this type, I went to my local ARC (Area

If your goal is to have living members of various families view and correct
data, You can do it through a web site that with a little work can be
password protected and placed in folders under a domain that are much harder
(although not impossible) for search engines to list.
