I want to upload a gedcom to my FaceBook profile. In so doing, I want
to include living people (after all, connecting with living people is
the whole point of FaceBook), but I don't want to include dates of
birth for them. In contrast, I do want to include dates for people

Thanks. That is what I thought but I didn't see this box when I tried
to do this earlier today. I know I've seen it before, but I don't
remember where. I'll look again when I'm home and can do so. Unless
in the meantime somebody is more specific about where this box is.
Cheers, Mark
all you
Thanks Wendy and Dermott,
The box to be checked was there all along. I guess I just got up too
early this morning.
Best,
Mark

But normally on one of the tabs there will be a place to check off

Rich, Thanks. But the picture no longer exists. Judging from the
file name it was both mislabeled and in the wrong folder, so I must
have deleted or renamed it. So the ghost link is to a file that no

Many thanks to all who wrote with suggestions. Cathy's did the trick.
After I did this I retested the media paths without getting any
errors. So the problem seems to be solved. Cheers,

There is an easy fix to the Vista help problem. Go to
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article07-500. Basically it
involves replacing the WinHlp32.exe file in Vista with that from XP.
I've done it and it works like a charm.

Laura,
You can easily run up huge bills on internet site subscriptions, most
of which are of limited use. The two I do find repeatedly useful are
familysearch.org and ancestry.com. Of course the former is free. I
do find a subscription to the later worthwhile but I don't subscribe
to the full
hours on. Although, it sounds like a good idea that we document
this fact plainly.
What type of document do you have? (File type, like PDF etc.)
Thanks,
Jon

Geoff,
There is something else that needs to be implemented. That is to give
the user the option of where to install PE. I tried it out yesterday
and it installed automatically on my C drive, which is too small (I
have added another much larger drive on which I load programs and keep
data).
