This is an old trick but sometimes works - seems to shock Legacy into
conforming.
(in Vista) Click on an empty part of the TaskBar, then Cascade Windows.
I can't remember the exact sequence in XP and earlier, but iit's similar.

If the two sets of parents have different RINs but otherwise *truly
identical* (i.e. same parents, siblings etc. ... ) then I would do a
manual merge on each pair. Of course, **first do a backup** :-)

OK, maybe this is stating the obvious - but does the file have the
appropriate extension .jpg? Sometimes, in renaming a file, one
forgets the extension, and Legacy will not recognise it as a picture
file.

You need to select
OPTIONS. On that options list is tag untag. You know your database and
which tags you are using for what purpose
the lines and/or individuals concerned, then make your web pages.
I agree the Pedigree Style cannot show where different lines meet
in a very logical clear cut manner with narration. But I can't see
this on your site either - could you post a link to a page which
demonstrates?

Yes ... backups are always appropriate.
But don't always cut the mustard. I have been religiously running
Check'n'Repair before Backups, but I have backups over a year old
including this same problem.

Using the spellcheckers attached to different programs, means you have
to update each one individually. Best advice is to use a global

I no longer use a flash drive for my working database.
Most people use flash drive with no problem. But I've had two complete
crash and burn and that is two too many.

Click the Tab Legacy Home (top-left under the Toolbar).
Then look at the second box on the right.
Updates will show your Installed Version, the latest Available
Version and Install Now. This is a live Update.
Go to the Legacy website if you'd rather download the new file to your computer.
