Check the Legacy site. I believe I recall them saying that Legacy may not
work if it is installed in PROGRAM FILES on Vista. Or maybe it was just if
the data was there. This is especially true if you have multiple identities
on the computer - what you see in Legacy the others that log on to

out - where I could give them access to the live file but yet not allow them
to change it. That way I wouldn't have to duplicate anything and they'd
always have access to the most recent version without any work on my

1) Child born to parent 1 2, now cared for by parent 1 3
If I turn on show 1/2 siblings on the FAMILY TAB - the child shows up
twice (same RIN) under each parent set - once as a full sibling (but with
no biological/guardian/adopted
Does Legacy have a view only setting? I'd love to set up Windows Shortcuts
so my kids could view the family tree info and print reports, but I don't want
to have to worry about them accidentally changing something.
Without that option, I guess I can make a duplicate of my database and give
