Thanks for the link to the PDF. For years TMG could print that kind of

I have used both programs and yes TMG has a major learning curve but as
stated it goes way beyond Legacy however the majority of us will never need
the in-depth functionality of TMG.
Speaking of which does the new version of Legacy include an entry for
witnesses and can it print family trees?
I've run Legacy using Virtual PC on my Mac and yes it is a little slower
than my PC however I have been told that running PC programs on an Intel Mac
using Parallels they run at the same speed.

Hello Everyone,
My daughter who is 7 is very much interested in family history and although
I haven't let her try Legacy yet (I will having read the posts) what she
does is create her own forms on blank paper and then she fills in names and
dates and even draws pictures of the family.

Dear Patti,
Why would you say that the Caribbean has so little significance for most
genealogists? There is a lot of history between New England and the
Caribbean that goes back hundreds of years. The same can be said for New
Orleans and South Carolina.
Take care,
Philip

you have attached a child to a wrong set
of parents I've found it hard to unlink them and sometimes when you do so
they get deleted.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks,

I'd like to be able to print out a report that would tell me for example the
average age of marriage, or age at first birth for a particular surname in
my file.

Phillip,
I'm afraid that your question is far too general to be answered
Dear Legacy Users,
I wanted to know if there are any users out in Utah who might be able to
look up something for me at the FHL? I have a reel number, item number and
page number for a document and it's killing me as a wait (at least a month)
for the film to reach my local FHC in NYC.
Thanks,
Dear Susan,
I've seen posts like mine before, or the request is buried in an email that
has relates to Legacy and yes I do understand the need to keep this UG
focused.
Anyway having said that, it would be great if Legacy users had a way of
knowing if their fellow users are doing similar research
Hello,
Mitch, I'm using UK records is it possible to get a copy of your
source templates?
Also does anyone know how to to set up witness information in
Legacy? In TMG it's a built in event for every person that is
added. Would be nice if something like that was built into Legacy or
