funtion and what I have found is that my printer settings are not
flexible enough to allow a quality reproduction.

print to it. So you can add a large format printer and use
its page sizes in Legacy Charting, but export to PDF or
JPG files.

Choose a PLOTTER for best printing options as far as size and such go.
If you install a printer and are using Windows, you should be able to
find plotters under HP, IBM, Lexmark

Yes the DPI can be changed for a PDF file. The information provided
by the PDF component that we use in Legacy Charting recommends staying
at 72 DPI. There are other methods

PDFs have a limitation in that they cannot be greater than 200 in any
direction. This is a PDF limitation, not a Legacy
