Yes, I got it. I think people are getting posting at different rates of
speed. Sometimes I see a response to a question and not the original
question for a couple days!

You won't see your sent messages in gmail in your inbox (they are in
your outbox) until someone replies.

Yes. I think that those files are automatically created when a new database
is opened. I do not know what happens if they are deleted and nor do I
understand why anyone should wish so to do.
