I would just add each source and in the text / comments tab I would specify
which 'bit' that source relates to.

It is possible to add more than one source to notes, just add the second and
later sources as you did for the first. What cannot be done though is to add
sources which point to different parts of the note. To be on the safe side,
make sure you save between each source addition.

My second method I started using later. I simply gave up on the general
notes screen and created some events called General Notes, Death Notes,
Residence Notes, etc. This way has turned out to be much easier and is very
accurate as each note event can be individually sourced in the same way

You can use multiple sources in a single note by using the old MLA sourcing
technique of putting a reference to the source in brackets at the end of the
paragraph or sentence.
For example, if the source is Early Fairchilds in America by Jean
Fairchild Gilmore, at the end of the section,
