I wish I had advice for you, Ron, but I simply hit the button. Yes, my whole
chart came out perfect. Unbeknownst to me, however, it had generated a chart
that was less than four inches high, and thus completely useless.

I love my chart, but would like it a lot better if I could figure out how to
get it printed. So far, I have tried:

1. Generating a pdf of the chart, to send to the printer. This didn't work
because pdf won't generate more than 200 inches in width
2. Sending, via YouSendIt.com, the whole actual chart file, and asking the
printer to download the free software. This didn't work because although the
printer had installed the charting software, the file threw up an error
message indicating that he didn't have access to the whole Legacy genealogy
file (which, of course, he didn't)
3. I generated the jpg, which appeared to be perfect, and happily sent it
off to the printer, once more with YouSendIt.com, because it was an enormous
file. The printer e-mailed me that although it was, indeed, perfect in every
other way, it was just a bit more than three inches in height.

So far, I'm stymied. Has anyone else managed to print a very long chart?

Janis

Janis,

I wonder if you would be good enough to tell me exactly how you managed to
make a jpg of your chart. Mine is still loosing the right side no matter
what I have done, including uninstalling, deleting every file connected with
the charting program and redownloading/installing, all to no avail. It is an
eight generation descendant chart and only 160" wide.
