There are some things you could change via the 4 Geocodes.txt
files in the Legacy folder. In these files there are some
instructions, but I have never read them.
In your existing file you could change all the Germany to Deutschland
via Search and Replace.

I've read the text in the GeoCountryCodes.txt file and think you have
to look for the entry for Germany and add a + (plus sign) before
Bundesrepublik Deutschland (or change this first to just Deutschland.
The plus sign is default before Germany in the file.
