Yvonne, understand I am not scolding, just educating. I am using Outlook Express. It comes up in HTML format because I clicked the "Reply icon" with one incorrect setting. In my address book settings for LegacyUserGroup I have correctly ticked the box to "send E-Mail using plain text only". Under Tools/Options/Send under Mail sending format I also have ticked the box "Plain Text" BUT above that under Sending are 6 options to be ticked or ticked-off. One of them, "Reply to messages in the format in which they were sent" should always be ticked-off or you are slaved to the format of the message tou are replying to. If you "Reply" to this and you can see RED or any color it will be sent HTML.
