I've had this in the past
After deleting an erroneous spouse and checking This individual never

How do I correct this.

I'll give up again! Seems the answer to (some) of my problems is to fire off a
question to LUG - next time I enter data the problem seems to have solved
itself! My recalcitrant source clipboard entry is now retaining all info as

Thanks Heather,
That is exactly what I was trying to say. I don't know if they share a
father or not so I think I will leave it the way it is, now that I know I
didn't mess anything up.
When you say existing problem, you mean Legacy already knows and this is on
the fix it list?
Thanks again,
Ron,
Since I don't know if the kids share the same father or not they each have a
separate unknown father so there are three marriages (two unknown)for my
aunt and when I click through the different marriages for her only one of
these two kids (unknown fathers) show at a time in the unknown
That is the case, but you can work around it. Say you install Legacy6 first,
you can then download the full version of Legacy7 to a convenient folder,
and change the name of the Legacy.exe file to LegacyNew.exe and install in a
different folder.

Of course. *BUT* Because the intended use is not apparent to me, I want to
get a better understanding before going and and making such changes. I
don't feel I have enough information and/or experience with Legacy to make

Up to this point, I've been creating a new SourceWriter master source

then link each family member to that master source, but I have not used

Another problem: how do I change the person from whom the list of persons is
made? Do I have to exit the nFS program, go back into Legacy, then
re-initiate nFS with a new person selected?

Dave,
it is my understanding that Legacy has never liked the word County in
there. I came from a program that actually suggested putting Co. at the
end of every county and I really liked that as it was more specific.
I wish Legacy was nicer about that.

Your understanding may be incorrect. I use the word County in my
locations - it does not cause any problems in Legacy that I've ever
encountered in over 2 years of use. The mapping finds my locations
without any problem. I don't really pay much attention to the Geo
Locations since the mapping was
Carl,
I don't quite understand your question. Can you not scroll the list in
the nFS screen ? Whatever the problem, you should not need to exit nFS
and reload it. Possibly change your filter at the top left. You may be
just looking at direct line ancestors ? If so, change your filter. Take
a look
Thanks Ron - will continue addressing the issue. Seems I can simply
click NO and get around it - it is just annoying!

Carl,
For now, yes. Your question reminded me that we need the ability to change the
root person upon whom the percentages are based. I'll see what we can do.
Regarding the scroll wheel, I, too, agree that it'd be nice to enhance this as
you suggest.
Thanks,
