Brian - I agree - however, after a month and no response from anyone via fina a grave as to how to use the site, I thought that piggy backing on a Legacy message might produce some insight - which it has. Thanks for the help. The Bob On Apr 5, 2013, at 7:40 PM, Brian L. Lightfoot

I was having a problem once and I had to reinstall Legacy to solve it. I believe the problem was with my legacy.usr file. Anyway it would still be nice to have a printout (I know it is low tech but I will soon forget what file holds the settings and where I put it) The printout would give me

You could simply make screen shots of the customize settings and print those. Ltools also has an option to save all the usr files so that they can be restored or moved to another computer. Ron Taylor --- On Sat, 4/6/13, Ch howell...@gmail.com wrote: From: Ch howell...@gmail.com Subject: Re:

Because this request seems to come up every few months in one form or another, it would seem to me a simple resolution of the problem to have Legacy provide for an automatic backup of all .USR files. As it exists right now, there are options to backup not only the family data file but also

Thanks for the input. How does one add children to a family that you are the manager of (poor grammar, bit…)? I do not seem to be able to figure that out. Would you have open the child entry and then add the grave number of the parents or does one have to add the parents and then work

I have often wondered why these files are not included in the backup. In my opinion one of the more important is the iSearch folder. This is where all of your custom internet searches are stored. If you use this feature as much as I, you will want to be sure to keep a copy somewhere safe.
