default printer, and print the file to that plotter instead of a PDF
file? Your friend could then use that file to print the chart.

Photos and text will be grainy - particularly noticeable in a large

Well, to be even more specific the transfer to/from Legacy/Families is not a
simple copy, it also involves a database conversion from/to Legacy format
(Microsoft Access) and Families (SQLite).

I too have my desktop running Windows 7 and my netbook running Windows XP. But
I use Dropbox to sychronize my Legacy database between the two computers. I've
had no problems running Legacy on the two different operating systems.
