Works best for me to use the split screen view, pedigree view, and find
someone who is in both files, if possible. Drag and drop from the same
person in the left file to the one on the right. Review ALL the options
for merging to make sure you get everything.

Which of the two mobile applications, Pocket Genealogist or Families, is
best for using Legacy on a Samsung Galaxy S4? It is my understanding that

Families 2.0 for Android is now available from Google Play. It should be
available in the Amazon Appstore, Nook store and SlideME within a few days,
subject to review. This version supports Legacy 8.0.

Families most definitely does work with Legacy 8. I have a iPhone iPad,
but I know that Malcolm Green (Families developer) has updated both the iOS
and Android versions to work with Legacy 8.

I have a problem emailing my charts created under L8. Under L7.5, charts
were about 350 kb. and could easily be emailed. Under L8, same chart, with
addition of two people, are almost 16,000 kb. and cannot be emailed as an
attachment.
Any suggestions on how to reduce the chart size? Why did it
