Legacy (any version) requires Windows, so it will not run directly on your Mac. I would recommend you buy VMWare Fusion 6 and install on your Mac and then install Windows 7 under VMWare. Then you have Windows 7 running on your Mac and you can switch back and forth from Mac to windows as you need

I have a Macbook Pro 15 running OSX 10.9.2 and Parallels 9.0.24172.  Windows XP SP3 runs in the virtual machine provided by Parallels.  Legacy 8.0.0.412 runs great in this scenario.  I plan to update to Windows 7 or 8 soon because Microsoft is officially discontinuing support for Windows XP

There are very few programs that will make or even open these files. The WMF is a video file that some sites use by very few. There are many more NON priority type of file. Yes there are some Wizards that come with scanners that use the pdf by default, and every one of them need to be trashed.
