Valerie, You can load from Legacy to Ancestry but Ancestry doesn't have a place for all the Legacy information. Do not then update on Ancestry and plan to download and reimport into your Legacy file. Ancestry gedcoms are a mess. You'll just add to your normal problems of multiple files. By all
