iPhone converts pictures received or taken to an “heic” extension. Legacy does
not support. Don’t really want to change phone application as a jpg file takes
more storage it’s said. Tried saving the heic file on PC to jpg file but Legacy
still won’t accept. Any help would be appreciated.

I leave blank. If you enter unknown or ? a warning displays in that report. Now
maybe that can be altered, I’ve not looked for that possibility yet.

I’ve read so many posts about issues users are having. Is it safe to upgrade to
the latest version? I’m not that great with solving problems even though using
Legacy for several years.

Then one cannot find on a map if historic locations used. With many relatives
in West Virginia I have this problem. WV did not become a state until June 20,
1863. On top of that many counties within the state were divided over many
years, far too many for me to recall them all. Then there is
but drug to file to another location and that worked. Would be nice to
avoid the dragging as I’m not exactly certain what I did.
Again thanks so very much.

Interesting. I'm still using Win 7 on laptop and have a second monitor. Use it
all the time including with Legacy. I will be buying a replacement laptop with
Win 10 all in one soon. Wife uses Win 10 and additional monitor at work but not
with Legacy of course.
I do have a second little used

Personally, I never upgrade any software for months maybe even a year. I have

Well, as to problems, yes and no. Guess I fall into the category age wise as

Hi Brian,
I suppose what I was referring to was as a 'blank was the place holder.
I've used media re-linker and have now transferred all the linked files into
the Legacy media file. From my prior software I had no videos, lots of text
documents for which some transferred and some did not.
FamilySearch should be
working well in the latest Legacy build of 8.0.0.439
