letters seem to appear on both male and female stones and the referenced
publication also lists their baptisms so I would doubt that any are Jewish.

I have found reference to a lady named Mary Johnson McElheney who led a
very early effort to catalogue several of the St. Charles cemeteries. This
could in deed be the MJM reference I am looking for.
