For personal use, I want to set “Private” OFF in an Ancestor Report, but I have
one which I can’t affect.
This is what I have –

I used Family Chartmasters, not Legacy Charting - I didn't think myself
clever enough to use the Legacy program. Perhaps there's a work-around?
There are clever people on this list grin.

Hi Jane,
Re blank pages in reports.
Check, for example, the Page Layout tab.
Are you starting a new page for each generation?
Are you opting to start a new generation on an odd page?
There are some other settings that also give blank pages - sources,
index, table of contents can all be started on
I'll second Dave's suggestion of a fan chart for each person's ancestors. I
did a nine-generation chart for a wedding gift. Think ahead of what
information you want to include -- I used birth years death years (no
places), and occupations because I thought that was more interesting than
places.
Sorry, premature posting I'm error.

I am trying to find a brief readable easy-as-possible- to understand

seem to come up with a blank page at every generation, which wastes an
awful lot of paper. Also, I guess it is not possible to include the

I am trying to generate ancestor reports for my children and their spouses.
Is it possible to generate a report for a couple that would include both of
their ancestry lines in a single integrated report.
One of my daughters has a single child so it is easy to generate an ancestor

If all else fails -- I put in a dummy record for three children so that I
can print a pedigree chart that starts with them and shows ancestors of
both parents.

At this time, you will need to select one of the children as only one
person can be the starting person.
We do have a request logged to include all siblings along with the
starting person, but I don't know if or when the programmers will add
something like that.
Ancestor reports are all based on

Jay,
Check that there are not a load of returns or spaces after the burial location,
check that the notes, burial notes in particular, are empty - no spaces nor
returns.

Make sure you do not have any Checks in the Descendant Book Report Options,
Options Tab, Look at top left it says:
Insert Underlines for Missing:
x Given and Surnames
x Dates and places
It would appear you have these boxes checked.
