I want to thank everyone that tried to help me fix my problem (I couldn't
copy events from person to person without getting a 3021 error). Jim from
tech support (one of my most favorite people at the moment) worked hard on
this problem last Friday to no avail but this morning he came up with the
Michele, are there any lessons learnt from this that we apply to our own files?

That option is in the same place for all book reports... upper left

Lavern,
Take a deep breath. I’m sure it’s still there. A question...
When you say ‘all of the data’ do you mean you can’t bring up any data, or have
you just lost a few days? If nothing is coming up at all, it’s likely that
Legacy has just lost ‘the what file do I open’ when I open up
Hello Lavern
From the Dropbox Help section:
If your files were in a shared folder, and the folder is still shared, then
keep reading.
Use the web search to find files, including deleted files.
All files, including recently deleted files, can be found on the website. Log

What I failed to mention was that after I tried to paste an event to someone
else and the program shut down, when I opened the program back up and when to
the person where I had tried to paste the event, it looked like there was an
event there even though the event was completely blank. I
Joey, That sounds like a lot of fun! I might just borrow your idea for our

Since I wasn't sure I understood what the OP was trying to
do, I've stayed out of this one, but this one caught my

Brian, Let me see if I am understanding what you wrote.
If I changed the surname portion of an image's file name to be UPPERcase using

However, if the Legacy program was sending the file name itself to another

The unusual situation arises if, for example, you set a direct line from a

My only point is that if I have gone to the trouble
Hi Paul and Mike,
1. Paul - the data that is missing is what I entered since my last backup
two days ago. I checked, Legacy is set to open last used family file
automatically
2. Mike - No, I'm not sharing files, it's just me.
However, I did go to the Dropbox website

I have a basic question on handling adoptions.
Let me give an example:

Tom Mary were divorced, and Mary married again:
Family 2: Carl Johnson Mary Smith.
Carl and Mary then had 2 children: Les and Lois

Maybe I'm just more tired that I think I am. Clearly, I'm
not following your line of thought.
So I think I'll just go back into my little cave and play

Have you tried searching the whole of your c: drive for any database
files? Just go to Windows Explorer, click on C: drive, and Search for
any *.fdb files. This should point you in the right direction if the
files are still on the computer anywhere.

Use dropbox for a backup
DO NOT OPEN THE FILE IN DROPBOX FOLDER WITH LEGACY…
Always copy the file on your hard drive to Drop box folder to have a backup.
Every morning I copy approx. 1.6 gb of files to dropbox
Then I can copy those backup files to my computer at work
Henry,
I am not sure why you say ‘Always copy the file on your hard drive to Drop box
folder to have a backup”. That is exactly what Dropbox is doing automatically.
Dropbox is a folder on your local drive, and anything done in the local Dropbox
folder is replicated to the Dropbox server, and

I am 95% certain they are related, just not where I had them so I have not

position.
