The key is that she is trying to open a Legacy file that is in a backup (zip) file. In order to open the .fdb within that .zip backup file Windows extracts the .fdb file to the temporary storage folder and it is that temporary copy that Legacy is using. She should be looking for a .fdb file that

Erica, Your problem is being caused because you are opening a .fdb file that is in a zipped file. That .fdb file is in a compacted form that Legacy cannot use. In order to make the file usable Windows extracts the full, uncompacted, file into the Windows\temporary files folder and it is that file
