Hi Chris, The Address name etc in the Print options refer to the Address entered for the Individual (see the Address icon on the Individual Information Form), not the Event Address you are looking for. Since they're all at the same address, if I've understood you correctly, enter the Address as

I am not sure if I am understanding you. If you go to VIEW MASTER LISTS ADDRESS LISTS EVENT, highlight the address you want and then click SHOW LIST on the right side. From this screen you can either tag or print the individuals. If you want to do multiple addresses then send it to a

I am getting confused about entering place names for countries other than the United States. About 95% of my ancestors are from England, the remainder from Canada. Do the same rules apply here for these countries and do I need to add the comma(s) for unknown fields in order for searches to work

There is no right or wrong way to enter locations. To make use of all the sorting options in Legacy, you do need to use four places or replace missing ones with extra commas. Many Legacy users do not adhere to such strictures, using fewer or more than four places in their locations. You can

Christine,I am in the same situation as you with most ancestors in England. You just need to enter city, county and country.  Many of us also place the street address in the location field.  If you only know the country and country don't worry about inserting commas for the missing info.   If

John, IMO it is best practice to test using the full current version of a program. That means Legacy 8 in the Deluxe (paid) version and/or the full (paid) version of Roots Magic 6. Most of us have spent countless hours over the years entering our data into TMG. It is the repository for our
