Legacy has to be installed on your computer and it uses this folder ...\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\_AppData\ for your Legacy settings. You cannot move or rename any of this. If you do, it will simply be recreated with default settings next time you start Legacy. If photos on the external

I am putting all my family photos on an external drive using the program Heritage collector. Is it possible to install Legacy 8 on an external hard drive and it be workable or do I have to install on the main Drive on the computer this I would like to do for my four children that I might leave
