Obviously, you have never been held for ransom, or you would never go to a site about which you have been warned. Many times, the site is trustworthy, but a hacker has stolen the link to the trusted website! McAfee picks those up too. It is one of the most common sources of being infected.

McAfee is well known for 'exaggerating' - nothing wrong with the link / site for the handout. It's well worth getting over your aversion for videos to watch this one - I hate videos as well but this was worth it. Watch it on your desktop if you can to appreciate it fully - otherwise why not

Hah! That's how I hit upon the fact that a cousin had posted my data on his website - a rare name in the family showed up in a search and he posted *all* the living info. He was fine with removing it. But the other person who had taken the info and put it on *his* website was slow to respond

I have had my website (created with the Legacy software and hosted by GoDaddy) for many years. I get responses, questions, and comments literally all the time. Collaboration takes place by e-mail. I get good response on Google searches, meaning I run into my own research all the time.
