Hi Using set prompt "\\[\\e[1;37m\\]lftp\\] \\[\\e[0;32m\\]\\h\\]\\w\]\\[\\e[1;37m\\]>\\[\\e[0m\\]" or set cmd:prompt "\[\e[1;37m\]lftp\]\[\e[0;32m\]\h\]\w\]\[\e[1;37m\]>\[\e[0m\]"
in my ~/.lftp/rc file gives smiley characters instead of the host and directory What am I missing ? Thanks in advance for any help François
