Bug ID: 153342 Summary: Copying-and-pasting HTML text with an inline style into LibreOffice Impress will show copy text, not formatting Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.4.4.2 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: fpes...@tuxfamily.org Description: Hello, copying-and-pasting HTML text with an inline style into LibreOffice Impress will only show text, not formatting. Doing the same in LibreOffice Writer also shows the formatting. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a blank HTML file with this text: <!DOCTYPE html> <html lang=""> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Color test</title> </head> <body> <p style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0)">1) This text is pasted with color</p> <p style="font-size: 5px;">This text is pasted at standard size</p> </body> </html> 2. Open the created HTML file with a web browser 3. Copy into the clipboard the text from the page 4. Paste the clipboard into LibreOffice Impress Actual Results: The text is pasted correctly but formatting is ignored entirely. Expected Results: The text should show formatting, as it happens in LibreOffice Writer. Unformatted text should be pasted via Paste Special. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: See #153341 for a related bug in LibreOffice Writer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
