Hello people!
The GNU Project has been accepted as a mentoring organization in the
Google Summer of Code program, 2023.
This is what we have to do now:
- If your GNU program wants to participate, please send project ideas to
summer-of-c...@gnu.org, CCing jema...@gnu.org. For each idea, please
make sure to specify:
+ Title, and description.
+ Skills required.
+ A mentor with an email address.
+ Whether it is a 175 hour or a 350 hour project.
+ Difficulty: easy, medium or hard.
+ CLEAR contact method for interested students.
You can also give us a link to a page in your website containing the
ideas page. This is actually preferable.
- We will be inviting the mentors to join the GNU organization in
https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com as mentors. If you don't get an
invitation and want to mentor, please let us know here.
>From now to March 19, be ready to be contacted by contributors, in
whatever contact mean you specified in your ideas page. Starting in
March 20, contributors will start submitting their proposals through the
program website.
