With 1.7.20 if a first ending goes to the next line the ending number is
repeated. I have never seen this in printed music and I believe it
makes the music harder to read. For someone who often is in a sight
reading situation I find this an unnecessary distraction.
Thanks,

With 1.7.20 the tab is not working in emacs here. The error message is
Symbol's function definition is void; Lilypond-beginning-of-containing-sexp
Any ideas or help?

So with the help of the KMail developers I finally found the solution.
If anyone likes to change the header the way I want, here is the filter action
to be used:
[rewrite header] [Subject] replace ^(.) with COMMENT \1
This rewrites the first chacater of the subject with the COMMENT and the

Right.

% Here you probably want to use \\R{ and } instead. Ok but

Ahh, nice libraries, thanks.
Hmm, the documentation seems *MUCH* more comprehensible
than last time I checked (half a year or so).
That's strange - the doco for the stable version hasn't
changed

No. scm/tex.scm does not report the width of the text.
That is exactly the point. I do not care

It does not matter. You can define
lyr = \lyrics { tra la la }
and later use \lyr instead of typing \lyrics { tra la la }.
But you have to \apply the transformation function sooner or
later to some music

Want to fix problems in the Lilypond documentation
I really wonder where Fine tuning a piece went from the
Tutorial? It is in stable, but not in development. I find
it quite good, by the way, save some disorganization.
