Rather than query the font size, I use a simple calculation on the global
staff size:
In the individual files,
globalSize = 18 % or 20 or 15, or what-you-will
In the file of included definitions (thus always accessible):
mgnStf = #(/ 20 globalSize)
Then the eps file is
