Hi Guys... I would like to know if is possible to import via NFS a file system from z/OS to zLinux using RACF security check via MVSLOGIN programs. If so... where is possibile to download a binary version of it for Linux for zSeries? Or... is there a source of it? Thank's in advance Max

I would like to know if is possible to import via NFS a file system from z/OS to zLinux using RACF security check via MVSLOGIN programs. The z/OS NFS server uses the security system you've configured on z/OS to authenticate userid/pwd info passed by mvslogin, same as any other z/OS app. If

I don't know if this is the same, it has been quite a while. When I had to add LOTS of dasd to a turbolinux system for LVM, I had to do a 'mknod /dev/dasd? major minor', 'mknod /dev/dasd?1 major minor+1' for each dasd address I wanted to add. But I forget at what number of dasd I had to start
