We recently started having a chpid start throwing interface control checks.
The z/OS guy made the chpid unavailable to zOS and told us to vary off the

And the chpid started throwing Interface Control checks.

of our systems we have two
hipersocket interfaces defined-5100 and 5200. hsi0 is not always 5100.
Now that I know that the rules file is there, I can go fix it. But I

Thanks for the info,

Also,
/etc/sysconfig/hardware/hwcfg-qeth-bus-ccw-0.0.0340
And inside of the hwcfg file:
CCW_CHAN_IDS=0.0.0340 0.0.0341 0.0.0342

Sorry about earlier post. I am still not used to this Blackberry.

So I am pretty sure there is a cpu consumption with this nfs server and

Has anyone else run into a problem like this?

Rob,
z/VM is an extremely stable product. We use it to run around 40 or so

A Linux system in an LPAR can and does have problems that a Linux guest

In a qdio environment, you have a queue of buffers (default 16

I am not sure, but I think that these buffers have to be locked in
