Thanks. Do you also know where to find this type of info. There are two options, vmhalt and vmpoff. It works, if you specify vmpoff=LOGOFF and use halt -p or poweroff If you specify vmhalt=LOGOFF and use halt it will work as well. you can specify both, the vmpoff and vmhalt option.
