Hi! I have suse9 and suse8. Internal ip adresses are resolved with /etc/hosts, not nameserver. In suse9 the netstat can find these hostnames, but in suse8 it doesn't works, except when I write ::ffff: prefix to every IP address in the /etc/hosts file!
Why is it so, and how can I shut down ipv6??
