Ok heres some more info. If I hit the rec enable button on a channle
and then disable it. I get
wrong list for this information (should be on ardour-dev).
as mentioned on ardour-dev, this buglet is fixed already but not
propagated to CVS yet.

last night, i thought of an analogy/metaphor) to illustrate the
difference between the way i think about processing networks and the
model used by GLAME, GStreamer and now proposed in Richard's LADMEA.
In both cases, we have a bunch of nodes that generate and/or process
a data stream.

I've got lot of stability problems with high order IIR lowpass filters.
Those tend accumulate significant DC offsets over time. OK for short samples
but not for realtime streaming, IMHO.
